II Chronicles 8:2 – So Solomon received the cities back and filled them with the children of Israel.
II Chronicles 8:8 – The command of God to utterly destroy those in Canaan as described in Deuteronomy 20:16–18, Exodus 23:32–23, Exodus 34:12–13, Numbers 33:52, Deuteronomy 7:16, Deuteronomy 7:2–5, and Deuteronomy 12:2–3 was disobeyed. How many times does God need to remind them? We are unjust and unrighteous we must continually be reminded of our failing or our pride in ourselves will overtake us. It is a good thing that God in all His foresight provided a propitiation for or sin in the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ.
Psalms 2:1 – ME? I’m not vain! Oh yes I am, but I realize that and try to counter it with repentance. Not punishment, but understanding of my own reasons for my actions. It is difficult to not second or third guess myself.
Psalms 140:1 – In this age also from the violent woman.
Psalms 140:9 – Give them enough rope and let them hang themselves.
