II Kings 13 – 15, Psalms 121
II Kings 13:4 – This represents the BIG If that God has decreed before, that if His people turn to Him He will deliver them.
II Kings 13:6 – Even when we ask God for help and He responds, we keep going on worshiping another false god without turning our hearts to His prepared path for a life of victory over selfishness and pride.
II Kings 13:7 – God left only a few to defend Israel so that they may rely on Him, if they will.
II Kings 13:21 – Here is the fulfillment of the double portion that Elijah promised Elisha.
II Kings 14:26 – God has plans for these tribes and keeps His promise to Abraham.
II Kings 15:1 – In the 68 years of the two kings of Judah there were six kings in Israel several of which were replaced in just months.
II Kings 15:12 – God keeps His promises but for continuing favor from God we must turn to Him as Lord of our lives.
Psalms 121:3–4 – David showing prophecy about Elijah’s comment about the Baal worshipers saying that their god is asleep. God is the keeper of our salvation!
