I Kings 10 – 12, Proverbs 19
I Kings 10:5 – With all that the Queen of Sheba saw, she lost her pride of herself and blessed God.
I Kings 10:13 – This became a trade relations meeting as well as a diplomatic introduction.
I Kings 11:1 – Though Solomon was full of Earthly wisdom and the wealthiest king of all he did not follow God’s advice to stay away from foreign women that did not trust in Jehovah God (being unequally yoked).
I Kings 11:3 – Just as happened to Israel when they got ready to enter Cannen foreign women enticed Solomon to worship other gods.
I Kings 11:9 – Because Solomon turned away from God, God allowed trouble to come to Solomon. God has not changed Solomon has. The BIG If is still in effect and Solomon has chosen the Else part.
Remember
I Kings 3:14 And if you will walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.

5 then I will establish the throne of your kingdom on Israel forever, as I promised to David your father, saying, There shall not be cut off to you a man on the throne of Israel.
6 If you shall at all turn from following Me, you or your sons, and will not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them,
7 then I will cut off Israel from the face of the land which I have given them. And this house which I have made holy for My name I will cast out of My sight. And Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people.

Remember: I Kings 8:22–53 Where Solomon asks God for mercy for the failing of the people if they turn back to Him.
God is forgiving to those that turn to Him and do His will. We all have turned away from God in the beginning and must repent and turn back to Him to be accepted.
I Kings 11:38 – God always gives you the choice of the BIG If, and you will make the decision of which path you wish to follow.
I Kings 11:39 – Because of one man’s sin, Adam in the beginning and Solomon in this case, glory and honor were lost, but not forever. This is a promise of the coming descendant of David that David called Lord. I wonder if Jeroboam became jealous of this promise that God was going to keep.
I Kings 12:6 – Those that have experience give good council.
Proverbs 16:31 The gray head is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness.
I Kings 12:9 – The young are selfish and do not care about others.
Proverbs 7:7 and I saw among the simple ones, among the youths, a young man with no understanding,
I Kings 12:20 – After Jeroboam’s sojourn to Egypt it seems that he has already given up worshiping Jehovah.
I Kings 12:22 – God has plans for this separation and also for the lineage of the individuals in both Judah and Israel.
I Kings 12:25 – When Israel split apart Jeroboam wanted to keep them from going to Jerusalem to worship at the Temple , so he built two worship centers for claves of gold that represented the gods of Egypt from where he had fled, not Jehovah God.
I Kings 12:28 – Again this false narrative that these manmade figures brought Israel out of Egypt. How many times has that been used to persuade the people?
I Kings 12:31 – He made the priests from the least educated and most persuadable to worship these idols.
I Kings 12:32 – Jeroboam counterfeited the worship of God with feasting and sacrificing to manmade idols.
Where Solomon asks God for mercy for the failing of the people if they turn back to Him.
God is forgiving to those that turn to Him and do His will. We all have turned away from God in the beginning and must repent and turn back to Him to be accepted.

Proverbs 19:5 False witnesses will be punished
Proverbs 19:9 False witnesses will be punished
Proverbs 21:28 A false witness shall perish, but the man who hears speaks on and on.
Proverbs 9:6 – Many go to a rich person that can provide for them but why not appeal to God who owns it all?
Proverbs 19:8 – Love you neighbor as yourself and by getting wisdom you will find increasing love for both your soul and your neighbors.
Proverbs 19:9 False witnesses will be punished
Proverbs 19:5 False witnesses will be punished
Proverbs 21:28 A false witness shall perish, but the man who hears speaks on and on.
Proverbs 19:11 – How much more glorious is it that God puts away His anger when we turn to Christ for salvation as the thief on the cross did, and then He does not condemn us for our sin.
Proverbs 19:13 – Again drip drip drip, it’s better to be on a house top.
Proverbs 19:19 – A person needs to learn to control them self, not get bailed out again and again.
This wrathful man holds a grudge and even though being caught in misdeeds will not give up trying to cause more mischief.
Proverbs 19:21 – We try to become proficient in many endeavors and by trusting God. We need to let Him leads us along that path, not our own covetousness.
Proverbs 19:25 – Proverbs 21:11 When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise; and when the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge.
Proverbs 19:27 – The Easy to Read Version says “My son, if you stop listening to instructions, you will keep making stupid mistakes.” We need maps to get to where we have not been and assembly instructions to put together items that we have not assembled, we also need guidance about interacting with each other and Jehovah God.
